Meet Venezuela’s New Regional Manager

Nelson Longa has joined our office in Caracas, Venezuela, which is one of Velocity’s new branches.

As our expansion in Latin America continues, we can’t help but share the pride we feel in our growth and in the teams we are building. We’re pleased to announce that Nelson Longa has joined Velocity as the regional manager in Caracas.

Longa worked at IBM for many years, with roles that included directing personnel and serving as a project manager for critical services. “I wanted to find a job in which I could have a global vision of the business and be able to develop strategies, and Velocity arrived at the right moment,� he said. In his free time, Longa volunteers for “Tapas por Vida,� a non-governmental organization dedicated to helping children with cancer.

“I hope to lead groups in which the work of every individual counts, because human capital is one of the most important things that we can have,� Longa said.
